An advertiser's bid amount can go as high as they like and you are competing against these advertisers. Some are good and some just don't know how to bid. If we notice in that 30minute time gap that advertisers are aggressively bidding and historically we have never generated results. We will decrease spending automatically.
The reverse though can happen, if we notice historically that conversions are high during a set time of day. We can increase bids to capitalize and generate the most conversions. Allowing you to stay within budget but see a decrease in cost per acquisition (CPA). This is applied to every single keyword we are bidding on! If you have 200 keywords, that is 400 changes in one hour 9,600 changes in one day! That's a lot of changes to maximize and increase your brand's conversions.
