Google’s Disavow Tool
Google’s new Disavow tool is a step in the right direction to help website owners.It has been live for almost a month now and it has generated positive reviews. The Disavow tool essentially compliments the ‘link removal request’, it does not eliminate it. The famous Matt Cutt’s from Google has created a video to describe Disavow further, it is worth viewing:

Facebook users can bypass EdgeRank and opt-in to see ALL Facebook Page Posts!
Social Media managers rejoice! Facebook users can now bypass EdgeRank by simply opt-in to see your Facebook posts. It seems that Mark Cuban and others were able (arguably) to get Facebook to create an opt-in option to allow fans to see Facebook fan posts. A great win for social media managers who I am sure now will be trying to get more loyal fans to opt-in. This should see a dramatic increase in consumer to brand engagement, for the consumers that opt-in.
Social Media to Generate 50% of web sales
A new social commerce infographic created by Cloud Marketing software provider Vocus and with stats from Gartner Research state they expect to see $30 billion from social commerce related activities each year by 2015. Facebook is the leader in generating the most amount of sales by percentage, a majority of it would be coming through the Facebook Fan Page.
Facebook are Brand’s most valuable asset; 79% are more likely to purchase & 74% of Facebook fans are more likely to recommend a product or brand! Make sure to stay in touch with consumers.
